9- Sanderson MTL
10- Quinn CHI
11- Askarov NJD
12- Lundell MIN
13- Schneider VAN
14 - Zary NSH
15- Jarvis FLO

So MTL pick Jake Sanderson at #9, I think it makes senses because MTL will probably lose one of Chiarot or Mete at the expansion draft, I'm not that high on Harris and Norlinder is staying at least 2 years in the SHL with Frolunda ( 2 years contract ). Let Norlinder develop overseas so he can reach is full potential, hopefully.

MTL extend Jeff Petry this summer to a 3 years contract extension for 18M
MTL extend Brendan Gallagher this summer to a 5 years contract extension for 33,75M

Bringing some depth for the 4th line via trade ( EDM ) and UFA ( Martin )

Personally, I'm not that worried about the D depth, there's still some youth there (Chiarot is the oldest at 29yrs old). I'd rather see them draft either Holtz or Quinn -- who are supposed the be the consensus best shooters of the draft and are both RWs -- which is probably the weakest spot in the organization (as are right handed shots). I know there's Caulfield and Ylönen, but if one or both don't meet expectations, we'll again for the foreseeable future have to ask a lot of Gallagher.

That's purely my view of what the organization needs. Don't care who it is, hope they go with who they think is the most valuable player available. Also hoping it's pick 9 if not 1...

Yeah Quinn or Sanderson, but Bergevin really likes Askarov

Honestly most of their youth and better prospects are either Centers or LD. Romanov, Norlinder, Struble, Mete and Hatris are all LD and legit potentially top 4. Juulsen, Fleury and Brook are not imo. Sanderson would be a mistake. By the time he is in the NHL and playing top 4 minutes Weber will be on his way out and Petry on the backside of his career or playing for a new team entirely. At Center you have KK, Danualt, Poehling, Suzuki and Domi as 5 potential top 3 line centers. Imo they need to trade up for Drysdale or stay put at 9 if they lose the play in and draft Holtz,Raymond, Quinn or Perfetti (move him to the wing)

Hey, if Timmins thinks Askarov is the guy, then they'd better draft him

Didn’t you read the description ? Holtz Perfetti Raymond won’t be available at 9, I think Quinn at 9 is a stretch

I don’t remember it’s been 3 weeks/a month I’ll try to find it but it was rumors coming from someone working with the organization if I’m not mistaken

Yet you have him at 10. The option to trade down a few spots ad well wouldn't be a terrible idea if Holtz, Raymond and Perfetti are all gone. But I would even take Lundell over Sanderson and maybe even Askarov if you can get a legit return for Primeau. Just my two cents on their current LD scenario.

I really wanted MIN to have Lundell at 11 but CHI probably takes Lundell at 10. Askarov wont be ready in 4-5 years, so he can develop in the KHL without rushing him. Primeau have the potential of a starter, Askarov could be a Price, Vasilevskyi Rask.
