For some reason the logic has shifted from Calgary will consider moving a star player to Calgary needs to dump this pleb. I hate the Flames. I hate tons of things about that team. But I will fly to Calgary and stop that trade personally on their behalf. Gaudreau is worth like Ryan Ellis straight up. AT MINIMUM. And just because they would move him, doesn't mean throw garbage at their doorstep.

Nashville would just be glad to be rid of Turris’s contract. They aren’t getting an asset back for him.

I don't see Calgary trading Gaudreau to a Conference rival and if they did, it would be for a gross over payment. Like Forsberg and Arvidsson with a small add from Calgary (Bennett and/or Jankowski). And I don't think Nashville is that stupid or desperate. As for Turris, no thank you. Ryan Johansen maybe.
