He wasn’t well know by anyone until recently. He signed a deal with Laval in 2018, and impressed by being probably their best player (54 points in 74 games). He signed an NHL contract after that season. He was probably the 15th or 16th best forward at training camp, and he probably would have been called up if he didn’t get what was thought to be a season ending injury in December. He won’t be anything special, but he’s a solid depth/4th line player.

At first I kinda wanted the isles to lose and get Laf, but they look rly rly good right now. I’m excited to see how far they can go!

0-0 after 2 in the habs game. And the Pens have no business being in this game. Montreal has absolutely dominated them. The pens have had max. 3 scoring chances in the whole game. Perfect game by the habs so far (other than the PP, which continues to be horrible).

What an amazing game. The Pens did get a few more chances in the 3rd, but Lehky scores the winner. Carey was great for the few chances he did have to stop. On to Tampa or Philly.

Pittsburgh has been defeated by the team that got swept by Detroit this year.

Yes. Which means that Washington currently has the longest at 7 seasons.

What should happen is they clear out the front office, and the new GM tries to fix the team. But I don’t know how likely it is that Rutherford gets fired.
