I think Isles came pretty much drained to this game. At least compared to TB who had a week's rest NYI looked fairly exhausted.

Expecting a huge comeback. This was not the maximum extent of their game.

Well ****. At least it isn’t clashing with free agency anymore, but now I can’t watch rounds 2-7. Why do you do this to me NHL?

Standard Tampa playbook. Play terrible for 2 and a bit periods. Stay within striking distance. Rock up in the third. Might be hard with no forwards but let's see how goes.

So, we don't score on the 5-minute power play, and then we don't score on the 5-on-3 or even on any of the 5-on-4 power plays before and after the 5-on-3.

I want to say that was a very "Islander" ending, but it wasn't ... usually we blow a lead late and it goes to overtime, not this.

Isles are staying at the Heartbreak Hotel tonight. Absolutely brutal. They were the better team and played an "A" game. Bolts in 5.

feel like point is the pivotal point in most series, hes just playing so much harder and faster than everyone else.

Point, Hedman and Vasy. If Kucherov is injured I think they can still win the cup. Without one of those first three guys Tampa is forked.
