If the pick was top 10, then it would be closer. A Colorado 2021 pick is probably around 25-30. Considering Newhook & Byram aren't going anywhere, at least one of Annunen/Bowers/Kaut would have to be included. I doubt Lindholm is available tho, he's arguably their best forward along with Tkachuk

I don't see any reason why the Flames would sell Lindholm when they're competitive, and he's on an extremely reasonable contract, with term.

What is that Lindholm trade. If you add another first, Calgary may answer the phone.

I was just looking at the Calgary roster and figured it was worth at least asking. Calgary aren't winning anytime soon with that roster. No Hamonic in the playoffs is going to hurt them, and then they have no RHD's apart from Anderson next season. They'd be better off embracing a bit of a retool. But I respect that Lindholm should be part of that retool so it's fair enough to decline. I was more curious to see what his value would be in a trade.

Wdym were not a winning team? We just need a good top 4 RH defense man and maybe a better goaltender and were set. This trade is nearly close because jost is a 3rd liner, Timmins will be a top 4 defense man and the first will be a late first. Were not re tooling. Were just adding. The value would be super high

Go home you're drunk. We wouldn't give you makar for your whole team. Lindholm has had one good season and then was invisible in playoffs. He wouldn't even be a first line player in colorado

For this trade. There’s nothing the avs are willing to give up that would get Lindholm

I think I have a lot of time for a Zadorov trade, couple of picks would make me a very happy guy. Everything that needs to be said about the Lindholm deal has been said. The long term contract under 5 million makes him essentially a non starter.

Why is Calgary not winning anytime soon? They have a pretty good roster. They have amazing depth at left d and left wing. They are easily a playoff team in a normal year (I think Winnipeg has the upper hand). They are not retooling.

LOL I'm not even sure exactly what you said here, but you were roasting Lindholm, and that is not ok. Obviously, Makar is an Exaggeration. But Lindholm is Calgary's best forward besides Tkachuk. Lindholm would be your 3-4th best forward.

I don't think Calgary has a roster quality or depth that can compete with the heavyweights in the conference and division. Your star player Gaudreau isn't a playoff performer, and you're shallow at RHD without Hamonic. The Winnipeg series should be competitive but I think Winnipeg will beat you with their better star power up front and elite goaltending.

Lindholm would be more like 4-5th as he's not ahead of Landeskog, and arguably Kadri who is a 30+30 C with lots of intangibles is better too. That said, Lindholm would be a great fit on our 2nd line, but Calgary rightfully decline to trade him because he's got a great contract for 4 more years.
