If Carolina don't get Svech, they don't trade you Skinner. You could look at this team, but there's no way Carolina would move one if the other wasn't a factor. Without Svech, Carolina would have re-signed Skinner. Svech was who made skinner expendable

Svech will win multiple Richards. He's broken records, and boundaries. He's got 2 lacrosse goals, including the 1st and 2nd in NHL history. Dahlin is a great D man who will be an elite talent, but it's hard to say Svech won't be as good at forward.

The Sabres d was top 12 in nearly every category, top 10 even, even after they were forced to start a goalie who couldnt see well. If you think their d was a $hit show, then you have no idea what you're talking about. Dahlin also was not their best dman. He put up the most points from the position, that doesnt make him the best. He rarely started in the D zone
