Your right his first 2 seasons were not great but his rookie year he played 49 games in the top 4, which clearly he was not ready to handle, perhaps it even hurt his development a bit. Last year he was expected to improve and he did he had 13 assists not great but still decent for a sophomore D man especially seeing as it takes longer for defense-men to develop properly and remember he was fast tracked! This year the Habs were looking for him to break out and score 5-10 goals and pot 15-20 assists he was on pace to achieve the goals as he had 4 but he fell short in the assists and total points marks.

thanks for the info i know hes not a bad dman i just dont think the canucks need another small defender in my opinion.

fair enough, I feel like after finally getting his 1st goal after 127 games a lot of the pressure he put on himself was lifted and he has actually looked much better.

VAN decline. They are not moving Virtanen. They don't need another small dman.

hey this is a place to gives opinions what givesYOU the right to put down mine JERK.who do YOU think you are.

This website is made for people to feel as though they are a "GM", i.e. it's meant to be fun, right? You can give opinions here, but you shouldn't act like a child when you do so. You were condescending in tone. I usually never post on this site because there are WAY to many people that "give their opinions" like you do; through condescension and patrionizastion. However, it does aggrivate me when people say "are you serious!" to someone else instead of having a conversation. I see plenty of teams that I do not agree with here, but rather than say something or "attack" that person online (basically, saying something to someone online that I would never say in person), I just ignore it. I am going to block you because, frankly, this conversation just isn't worth it. Before I do, here is some unsolicited advice: capitalize the first word in your sentences. While you may want to send your expert opinions as rapidly as possible, people may take your opinions more seriously if you express them using proper grammar. I wish nothing but the best for you, and hope that you can be less contentious with your opinions in the future.
