Out of all these defenders, he went with Ouellet LOL. Why is Domi so low? At least have him on the 3rd line to roll 3 lines

1. Ouellet is not guaranteed a spot. These were the lines in Practice not necessarily the play in series.

2. Domi wants to play center and CJ says the configuration spreads scoring across all 4 lines (I disagree Domi's line sucks)

3. Maybe the plan is to put out the weakest possible lineup without being blatantly obvious about wanting to lose.

4. Domi isn't the only one this lineup hurts, once again KK has wingers who can't finish his plays.

Certainly some questionable moves here.....
Personally I would have the lines as follows:

Tatar Danault Gallagher
Drouin Suzuki Armia
Domi KK Byron
Lehkenon Weal Weise

Chairot Weber
Kulak Petry
Mete One of (Folin, Juulsen, Fleury) which ever has preformed best in mini camp

Price
Lindgren

Man there is no way Weise should be playing with Domi. He can't keep up. As much as I loved Weise 5-6 years ago against Lucic, he's not an NHL player anymore.
I still don't get what Weal's role is on this team. Neither does the coaching staff apparently...

The line that sucks the most is Drouin Suzuki Armia. The best driver of offense on that line is Armia. Drouin usually worsens every line he plays on and Suzuki might be good defensively, but not enough to carry Drouin around.

They'll start it against Tor, but I'm almost certain that when the game ends, Drouin is down to either the 3rd or the 4th line.

Depends if we get the beginning of the season Drouin or the end of season Drouin but he is certainly a wild card at best. Apparently that line has looked really good at mini camp but I agree they will have a short leash!

Early season Drouin was lucky with a 21.2% shooting percentage. Luck dries up and we'll see the real Drouin.

You’re such an annoying person, Drouin is the most skilled forward the Habs have with Tatar and Domi. Ok he’s bad defensively, but give him a break. What r u exactly ? Bruins fan ? Nordiques fan who just want to trash the habs ?

Domi wants to play Center at any cost
I completely disagree with Ouellet in the line up. It should be Juulsen and no other option. If he isn’t 100% against the Leafs, Folin will play the play in round

I like the Habs and I dislike the fact that they spend 5.5M on a guy who's a bottom six player at age 25.

1. Ouelett's not as talented as Julssen or Fleury, but he's older, got more experience and definitely got more poise. I don,t think he's guaranteed a spot either but for a first game I would try him for sure.

2. They will never confirm that, but since Domi's got health conditions, I'm pretty sure he's on the 4th to limit his ice time, thus trying to limit infection risks.

3. No chance that's it.

4. I disagree, Byron has proven time and time again he can score 20 goals per, and Lehkonen's got good skills and flashes. The last time we make the playoffs, Lehkonen was one of our best offensive forward because of the level of energy he brought.

1. I would rather see Juulsen in the game over Ouellet although your probably right about the reasoning

2. Makes sense

3. This was sarcasm, I do not think they are trying to lose as they have not been in a playoff game in 3 years

4. I know Lehkonen has middle six skills and he shows flashes of them would just rather have a more consistent player here. Again though having Lehkonen here makes sense for spreading the defensive forwards through out the lineup so that no line is totally screwed if Crosby or Malkin come over the boards.

The habs are underdogs for sure! It would take a lot of luck and hard work for them to win! But I guess we've seen crazier things happen in the last season's playoffs. #tampasweptbycolombus
