When the Lightning needed to trade JT Miller they still got a first round pick for him. Just because teams need to move a player won't mean you can get them for free.
That package might get you Cernak alone, maybe still not.
Offer sheet Cirelli if you really want to pry him from Tampa and not give up vital assets. Although probably not a good idea if you're DET anyway

if youre gonna draft askarov you might as well trade down from 4 - you could probably safely get him around 10th overall (only team that may reach for him in the top 10 is CHI). Trading down from 4 to 10 can easily get you another 1st rounder

Oh my god that's so brutal for Tampa. They got a 1st for JT Miller after he had a lackluster season. Teams will be bidding for Cirelli if he's available. Tampa will get a kings ransom for him
