well it doesnt really matter because you want to spread the lines. Ottawa always had Mark Stone on line 2 even thought he was a 1st line forward, its just the way it is

No way.

Sharks don't need or want Ryan.

Would you put Brad Marchand on the second line to “spread the lines”? I get what you’re saying, it just doesn’t really work with star players. Stone is an outlier

I don't think this gets it done for both Kane and Murphy.

A lot of posts would be deleted then. Some people do it for fun only.

Toews and kane play on different lines
Zibanejad and panarin play on different lines
Mcdavid and draisaitl play on different lines
Giroux and couturier play on different lines
Tarasenko and ROR play on different lines
Happens a lot

Debrincat also played on the 2nd line as a 40 goal scorer. Kane also plays 2nd line in Chicago

Umm are u joking? 😂😂😂 they Obvs don’t want to load the 1st line by going Debrincat-Toews-Kane which is why they spread the offence to 2 or maybe 3 lines

Kane is a top 3 RW in the game. They’re not better

To spread the offence. Kessel played 3rd Line when the Pens won the cup is he a 3rd liner? Hoffman also played 3rd Line in Ottawa. It’s just a strategy to spread the offence

No its because kessel and hoffman are 3rd line caliber players, nothing more

Well Ryan Strome is a 3rd line caliber player but because the Rangers don’t have a 2C, that’s where he’s playing. Also, Deangelo is a 1 hit wonder and not even good defensively, therefore he’s not more than a #4D on a cup contending team
