This is horrible for Vegas. This makes no sense positionally for the habs, but they probably accept, because of how good Theodore is. And then we trade away Stastny at 50% retained.

You dont move one of the best defenseman in the game out just to clear cap space. MTL should do this though if possible

We all agree this isn't the best trade but Vegas have maybe 1000 other options to move cap space without trading their best dman

I thought with Hague ready for big and fixing your 2nd C with Domi would be great for Vegas +RD Good prospect and 2nd... for Theo would be enough.
