Description

Winnipeg trade based off of Rosatoa1367's trade for Fowler (less additional 1st and 2nd rd picks from WPG to ANA because that felt a bit excessive).
Detroit trade simply off of the thought that the Ducks have a deep pool of d prospects which Detroit lacks, and ANA could use a good right winger.

and the lines could be made up a ton of ways, I just liked this because it gave Vermette's line a solid defensive line that could hassle other team's best line instead of Kesler's line so the ducks could roll 3 effective scoring lines (hopefully)

And Montours not going anywhere of Fowler is moved!

Haha to be honest I thought the same, but a WPG fan posted it (and even worse with an additional 1st). I'd be willing without the 2nd to be honest. Would that be fair?

Would you feel the same if the Deal was Stoner and a 2018 6th for nothing in return? That's still a deal I'd do.
And Montour doesn't replace Fowler necessarily. Montour has the same game as both Vatanen and Theo as a mobile, offensive minded defenseman. He's still expendable without Fowler, as prospects Larsson and Pettersson are working their way up as well.

Hey is my question to people. Let's say you had a prospect and in 68 NHL games he produced like a 2nd line player. How would you value him? That's dano that's how he has produced over his time in the NHL. Underrated has a prospect.

Good change that NJ will be adding a short term Dman or two. Could be Stoner, but I think they will have a large selection as teams trying to get down from their cap try to jettison some higher priced veterans like Stoner.
Two years of Fowler isn't worth the package given up Jets.
