I probably wouldnt. We don't need another C coming off a career year who is probably gonna cost a decent amount, and I dont believe in his skill set enough to be a successful winger either. I'm interested in Andersson though, just not at the cost of Nylander at this point

This leaves the hawks with little to no cap to re-sign both Stromes, Kubalik, and a couple goalies.

Value is fine, but for cap reasons the hawks should stay away from this. I think Nylander is going to be something decent for us moving forward + he's cheaper

I don't hate the NYR trade, but cap is a huge issue. Also, this line up doesn't have Pius Suter. Theres a reason he signed with the Hawks. I know positions aren't given in the summer, but he'll be given every opportunity. That TOR trade really needs to die. Murphy is our best RHD and that's the Hawks biggest weakness right now. Can't have a better team by getting worse at your weaknesses.
