I forgot about pulock tbh hehe. I think that yes barzal could get more but someone will offer sheet him that money because he really hasn't been the same since his rookie season. and New York will obvisuly match it. just my thoughts on what could happen

The value isn't bad, but Hawks are the wrong target. They have ~10 or 11 dmen looking for ice time.

Barzy gets that on a bridge. But ur right ab Pulock, Mayfied wont get traded, Toews’ contract is too low, they won’t play Bellows and/or Wahlstrom on line 4 and Leddy will almost certainly be traded

Mayfield is worth much more than that. Like a 2nd and a c+ contract. But isles won’t trade him, they need his cost controlled contract

Barzal wont get more than 7.5 on a 3 year deal. If he signs for 6+ years he’ll get at least 9

For that price I would gladly let JC figure out what to do with the pairings. Who knows Seabrook might play forward.
