  1. Cirelli, Anthony [RFA Rights]
TBL
  1. 2020 1st round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
Really don’t want to give up #8 for Cirelli, but if that’s what it takes, I think I would do it. One of the brightest up and coming young centers in the nhl and exactly what the sabres would be looking for in the draft
2.
BUF
  1. Balcers, Rūdolfs [RFA Rights]
  2. 2020 2nd round pick (CBJ)
  3. 2020 4th round pick (OTT)
OTT
  1. Davidsson, Marcus [Reserve List]
  2. Ristolainen, Rasmus
Additional Details:
Risto finally gets his wish to be moved to a young up and coming squad who could use defensive help. Buffalo acquires a good winger prospect in Balcers, two draft picks to help restock the cupboard, and needed cap space
3.
ARI
  1. Johansson, Marcus
Additional Details:
Swapping of veterans on expiring deals. Arizona could use more offense and Buffalo needs to strengthen in net. Caps come to about the same price

Take the second off the Risto deal please. Even then it might be an overpayment

I really don’t think giving up 8OA for Cirelli is a good idea, don’t get me wrong Cirelli is a very good player, but he certainly isn’t worth the 8OA pick in a deep early 1st round

i think it depends on where Buffalo sees themselves. if the pressure is on to become competitive before Eichel demands out, Cirelli is more valuable to Buffalo than 8OA.

Isn't Davidsson a pretty good prospect for the Sabres?
Ristolainen alone is worth at least that return, no need to add Davidsson imo.

I think Buffalo should look at moving their 2021 1st instead if Tampa would accept. Also, smart move on the Maroon pickup.

I kind of hate this idea too. I don’t think they would trade Risto in the division, and I would not want to give up Davidsson. Maroon I like, and Merrill or Ben Hutton to replace whichever defender the Sabres trade. I would be OK with giving up the 8th overall pick for Cirelli, but they still need a top six right wing.

If i was Buffalo, I would definitely make that deal for Cirelli. He is still very young and exactly what they need to drag themselves out of the basement. The 8OA will not help them this year or next or maybe even at all, who knows. Cirelli is a bonafide 2C. Do the deal and don't look back.

While Cirelli for 8OA is painful, I have faith that he'd be a perfect player to be a 2C/3C due to his defensive skills.

I'm not trading Risto in the division for anything less than overpayment.

Love the Maroon and Merrill pick up

I'm unsure if Arizona does that deal due to their cap situation; after all they would need to get another goalie to replace Raanta

I’m just afraid the market is going to get too big for him and then it’ll lead to a deal like this. Would much rather next years 1st, Mittlestadt/Thompson, and maybe another middling pick

That’s exactly where I lie with Cirelli for #8.

Ristolainen is so weird to me too. Honestly with Kreuger reportedly gaining more control of the roster, he probably stays with Montour heading out.

I think Arizona could take this to help gain some offensive help for about the same price. They have Adin Hill who has looked great in a limited time role in Arizona they can call up
