I'm very happy with this signing, as I am sure my fellow Anaheim colleagues are, too. Most of us predicted he would come in between $1.25 million and $1.75 million. I hope the fact that he is at the higher end of the range prompts him to put in the effort to get an even bigger contract next time. Good luck, Sonny!

Isn't he a bit of a defensive liability? His offensive numbers show decent 3rd line potential, but I'm a little surprised he got more than $1.25M AAV, especially with the extra year.

Defense can be taught. Just look at the 2018-2019 New York Islanders. This is a team woefully lacking in scoring ability. In that area, Milano shows promise of being a top-6 forward. He has two years to prove himself. If not, he'll be overtaken by Maxime Comtois or Braden Tracey or someone else.

I think it's a steal. He has talent, just remember the between-the-legs goal, one of the best in the season. I think he deserves to be in the top 6 F.

He used to be a throw-in in every Blue Jackets trade proposal on capfriendly. If he can get stable playing time in Anaheim he might turn out alright. Ducks have space so why not.

Bottom 6 FW money for bottom 6, nothing rather shattering here.

His best year was 2017-2018.
He had what 7 goals this year?

What am I missing?

Two goals and five points in nine games. Hope springs eternal!

SEVEN people voted No?!? And no negative comments posted, and only one that can be considered non-committal?

The money seems alright but he just feels like one of those 1st rounders with a chip on their shoulder that really haven't proven anything yet. Currently a bottom six forward with upside but not someone I would want in my locker room. The bar fight incident last summer said a lot about his character.
