I'm not a fan of any of these trades, my friend. If we're going to be trading major players like Henrique, Manson and Rakell we should be getting back 2020 draft picks, and if we're going to take on a cap dump like Sven Baertschi, it should be for more than a fifth-round draft pick. The same principle forms the WPG deal. I must admit though, that only one of these trades would happen. Not all of these proposals would happen in the same year.... i'm just throwing options out there.

Avs pass. Timmins is NHL ready and is going to turn some heads with his play, perhaps as soon as next week. He fills the Avs biggest organisational need right now and has looked awesome in camp so he won't get traded.

I think if ANA proposed a one for one trade (Timmins for Rakell), COL could easily switch gears and lock up Graves as part of the new D core moving forward (Graves, Makar, Byram, Girard).
