Oh man I have no idea. I don't think Fitz would trade him until the deadline next year because we gave up a 2nd a decent prospect for him. He will get every chance to turn it around in NJ. When he's dealt at the next TDL next season they'll be able to retain quite a bit on his salary so I'd think they'd be able to get a 3rd, maybe a 2nd, but that's a long way off.

I didnt realize he only had 2 seasons left on his contract. I wouldnt be mad if Ottawa gave up a third or fourth for him right now no retention

If Devils retained 50% I'd give up one of our 4 seconds for him. He turns around and plays well for us and we either keep him for 2 years at low cap hit or with his retained slaary can flip him for a first to a team pushing for cup
