He'll be more expensive. Pens tend to go with the cheaper goalie who is just as good.

Rodrigues won't be given an offer. They can't afford to and he's a backup here currently.

So anyone can get him for free.

I mean no disrespect, but Carter Hutton is your starting goalie...

No he’s not Ullmark is.
Ullmark had .915 save percentage and got hurt when they were near a playoff spot in on Jan 28.
Hutton had a .888 save percentage with vision issues. Murray .899

Miller, 2021 1st for Murray, Riikola

Pens don't hang up. Miller's $3.875M cap hit hurts a bit though. Maybe do something about that?

I am a fan of giving Riikola a shot elsewhere.

Well luckily the Sabres won’t give up a first for a goalie that’s not even better than Ullmark.

You obviously have not followed the Sabres Ulmark is there starter and performed much better than Matt Murray this year.

Over the course of their career, who has been better?

Again, why do you take about this past year and not their careers? Is it because it doesnt fit your side since Murray has been better over the course of their careers?

Great. Never said they would get a 1st for him. Weird how you're dodging the question though

Well, apparently Sabres fans think that the black and white stat numbers are the end all.

Ullmark's ceiling is a NHL backup, and even that is not a sure thing. If you think that he is a NHL starter level... well.. you are used to not making the playoffs so expect that to continue.

Murray's trade value would mirror his RFA compensation value.

I I don't care how good Murray was several years ago. I care about how good he is now. 2 of the last 3 seasons he has been one of the worst starters in the league. That is why all penguin fans want to trade him and go with a goalie that has only had 1/2 of a good NHL season in his entire career.

And Ullmark has had 1 bad season and 1 solid season. He has proved absolutely nothing in his career. So hes better than Murray based on 34 games this year? And no, not all penguin fans want to trade Murray. The ones that do, its for performance or cap reasons

Why do pens fans want buffalo to have murray so bad? He's a fine goaltender but he's made of glass and certainly isn't worth a first round pick and Colin Miller

Jarry has proved nothing more than Ulmark and you are defending moving Murray to allow him to be the starter for performance reasons. If you take into account Jarrys career vs Ullmarks they are nearly identical.
