A bit more than I thought he'd get, but not a bad deal at all. I believe this will take him to age 26 and he'll still be an RFA at the end of the deal.

A lot for 4th line production. Will be decent if he can develop more

I think the Bruins aren't doing themselves any favours with their most recent contract extensions. Coyle, Wagner, and Bjork are all too much imo.

I’m Split on this, it feels like a lot for him at the moment, but in the end could end up decent

It's a little more expensive than it should be, but the length is good. By the third year, it could look like a bargain.

Milano just signed for $1.7 million for 2yr, has similar P/GP and isn't nearly as good defensively. IDK that I'd say it more expensive then it should be, but it was more than I thought he'd get.

Why? He wouldn't have been getting 16 minutes a night in Boston like he is in FLA.

I just think he’s better proven depth. But, hey Bjork is young. Just a hot take

He isn't a 4th liner but good 4th liners get up to $2,75M nowadays; Bjork is good all-around, just doesn't have the point total to show for it so very likely $1,6M is a really good deal by the end of the next year.

Can't compare them, one is a 4th liner and one has top6 potential and way more offensive upside.

no comparison.
Before Milano was thrown into Torts dog house he was on pace to be a 20 goal guy at a very young age.
This is just over paid. He was on pace to whopping 12 goals this year.

There are much better players on Boston that will be available. They probably take Grzelcyk.

This contract is fair if you use the Engvall contract as a comparable.

They are two different styles of player and don't play the same role. Noel is a 4th line grinder while Bjork is a middle-6 skilled 200ft winger.

Bjork would be the 2nd best option if he's available and if Grzelcyk is there. If not, #1 over Lauzon/Clifton.

Bjork can actually play defense; just doesn't have the point total to match his performance.

Even then, a a random 4th liner that can get 12G is not overpaid at $1,6M.

No, and even if he do, Chara wouldn't sign there. Better to take Lauzon or even Clifton before him.

one as young as he is is. He has no ability to test a market. Nothing.
You can keep justifying it all you want. They just over paid for him. He's not even that good.
Your knows how to play defense is pure BS too. He's not even a 50% corsi, He has 30 minutes of PK time all year.
You make it out like he does something. He doesn't do ****.

Engvall was overpaid at the time of his signing 35 games into his NHL career. And
