IF Hossa were to waive his NMC, I think he would go to Florida or Tampa Bay and max out on his limited salary plus live in a warmer climate. Or he could go back to the wings and be magically placed on their LTIRetirement plan...

Because the Hawks need to be the butt of EVERY JOKE in the NHL for having two Kanes that can't keep their noses clean? Hell no.

Plus, Big Hoss still has a lot in the tank, don't let one bad year for him at #19, because they lost Saad, make you think he's done. He's far from done.

Hossa has already made $90 million over the course of his career thus far, I highly doubt he's going to be worried about the 3-8% he'd lose on the final 5 million of his contract. There are many more important things to him I'm sure.
