Description

Yesterday, I made a post criticizing the lack of intensity & creativity from the third line consisting of Marleau-McCann-Hornqvist. One of the users suggested that the Pens should drop Marleau cuz he can't keep up while move McCann on the top line w/Sid & Jake. Personally, I liked that idea so I decided to give a shot at the lineup based on it.

Lmfao Schultz was solid last game and sheary looked good. Even scored. Definitely wouldn’t change the lines

I may be in the minority but I love this. Our 3rd line looked pretty weak and we need that line to be successful. Plus this gives Lafferty a chance given how impressive he was at camp

Nah...I wouldn’t change anything until after game 1. If the 3rd line sucks in game 1, then I maybe make a change and add E rod or Lafferty.

Well, they played him w/Sid & Simon & it didn’t work, but last season they put McCann with Sid & Jake & the line performed pretty good. Though he has less playmaking acumen, he brings more to the table than Sheary with his elite shot, puck retrieval & defensive play.

I think everything stays as it was vs philly but maybe throw in laff or rod for one of the 3rd liners

Fair enough. Sheary & Simon definitely have more shiftiness than McCann & Rust.
