Looks good. I would switch Jarnkrok with Johnsson there.

Also to keep your team good, dont sign Ceci lol

I put Johnsson with Turris because he has a bit more offense than Jarnkrok does, so that may make the 3rd line a little more offensive. And Jarnkrok could be the defensive rock on the 2nd line that lets Hoffman/Duchene do their thing. As far as Ceci, I think if given the right role that he can be successful. Give him 15-18 minutes a night not against a team's top line. It's a gamble, but I was going between him and Bogo on the 3rd pair as both will likely sign cheap and could be good reclamation project signings.

don't sleep on Ceci. Excellent guy to have on the 3rd pair. Looked good last night and hasn't been bad all year, just misused a bit

He is straight up bad. Things I see in his game: bad decision making, bad skater, bad with the puck, bad without the puck, always in bad position and is straight up brain dead when defending an attack.

He's not consistent. Sometimes he plays well. Other times he makes terrible mistakes and is caught watching the puck.

my point is that he's misused. Of course he'll look a bit out of place when Rielly is down in their end after joining the rush and leaving Ceci and a backcheking forward to defend the top line - not saying anything bad about Rielly, but just saying that Ceci isn't the right guy for the role of Rielly's stay at home partner. Put him on the third pair with Dermott or even with a defensive guy like Muzzin and you might see a different result

He's not as bad as you say. Not always in bad position, often left alone when defending an attack, etc. He doesn't fit as Rielly's stay at home parter, but would be better used on the third pair.

I've seen him play for many years as a Sens fan.

For a cup contender he should be a 3rd pairing D man playing sheltered minutes and then move up he lineup if he's having a good game.

I agree. Good 3rd pair guy who shouldn't be playing higher up under regular circumstances

I mean Barrie is just so bad defensively that they got forced to do this.

I'm sure if they are losing a game they will push Barrie up with Rielly and push Ceci down.

I'm surprised they didn't try to put Sandin with Rielly. Sandin was looking very solid except on the rush.

It's pretty decent. I'm still not a Johnsson fan though. If Haula will sign a 2-3 year deal for something along the lines of what Johnsson makes, I'd rather get him and keep Carrier and the pick. I think Haula would be more of a play driver and less of a passenger on a scoring line, than Johnsson.

I don't mind Ceci, but I'd call Demelo's agent first, and see what his asking price is.

Can someone seriously answer this for me: Why do I continuously see this Watson to PHI deal for a late pick? Philly doesn't want/need this guy!
