Description

First line does it’s things. We know what they’re capable of.

Cozens slides in with a couple of veterans on his side to help him along the way.

Third line is kind of a jumble. Is Asplund ready for NHL action? No clue. Haven’t seen him play since WJHC a couple years back. All 3 can take turns in the middle.

Fourth line is an old school crash and bang line who can pop a few in the net too.

As for the trade.... maybe make the pick a conditional? 50 points from Risto and it becomes a 1st? Idk. I think I’ve given the advantage to my Canucks on this one lol.

Vancouver doesn’t do this because they’re not picking up another big contract, they’re looking to get rid of money.

hehe. Would like to see 2 guys capable of putting up 50+ from the back end. Been ages since we had one (other than Hughes of course). Ehrhoff maybe? if me worry serves me.

IF, and that’s a big if. But if they move out Loui, Sutter, and maybe even Beagle (yes a lot would have to be given up) I think it’s doable. Risto isn’t locked in long term, so in 2 years time you could let him walk

They really only need 1 RD, I assuming Stecher is traded so they probably go with Cernak, Myers, and Rafferty

No thanks. I like Stetcher but the only way we should move Risto is if we get a young player we can play in the top 6. Also trading a RHD would be to open up a roster spot for Borgen so we wouldn't want a D back

unless you offer 4.2 they won't be able to match. Your also forgetting about the tax rate system. If you OS cernak 4.2mil, Hughes will want 13mil. There is a reason why teams don't do that anymore

And I bet Cernak would rather take 500k less to stay on the better team
