IMO if we get first overall, I'd rather keep it tbh. Would much rather have Laff, who can play now and be effective during the end of 87/71 than 2 players who won't be ready for 2/3 years anyways

Ottawa is giving up Gustavsson and Lajoie to move up from 33 to 28. No thanks.

These trades are yikes. No one is trading the first overall pick.
Especially not for miles wood.

Trading a top d prospect that should make the jump soon And a 2nd for a healthy scratch pending UFA and 3rd doesn’t sound too appetizing.

Trading our 2 time cup winning goalie that’s not even in their prime yet and 2 thirds for a 3rd line center that’s equivalent to McCann At best but older And cost the same but is a pending UFA. Thanks but no thanks.

Trading a couple of Cheap 3rd liners and a Cheap depth d Option for a couple 4th round picks...nah

Trading McCann for what looks like a bust d prospect and a forward prospect. Doesn’t sound like a win now move to me.
