Anaheim easily passes, they have Gibson at a great contract for several years. Rakell would cost Hajek and a 1st at least.

Don't put a trade where people can post then, you can easily make this same thing and not post it for your own amusement

Why would Anaheim want another LHD? That's their deepest position. Hajek isn't even that good according to underlying stats.

Upgrading from 7th to 3rd isn't enough to entice anyone to take on $4.25m capdump, even if his real salary is lower. A 3rd + 3rd/4th or a 2nd seems more fitting.

COL shouldn’t be taking any cap dumps, but if they do it needs to be for a 1st to be worth while

A relatively small capdump like Baertschi who you can bury as a top 6 forward in the AHL would probably be the best bet. That way it doesn't take a roster spot and only uses a little bit of cap. Hard to tell what capspace will be worth exactly this offseason, but I think a 2nd or 2 3rd's would be quite reasonable.

Just remember a cap dump that pushes you close to the edge could end up causing you issues with a trade or god forbid an injury. That’s why it needs to be worth it like a 1st rd pick, especially to a conference rival.

Fox too young and too good so he’s not going anywhere. Trouba locked you for 8yrs with NTC not going anywhere. We don’t have a top LHD rn and both would be on reasonable contracts
