Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much especially taking on Lucic's contract even with $1 million retained. I read Now Last Word On Hockey saying it would cost JVR, York, and a 2nd. Now that I would do in a second, but doubt Calgary does.

I would also do that in a second, hell, throw in another 2nd or another B level prospect (Laberge, Sandstrom, et al), and I'd be fine with that. York would hurt since I can't wait to see him play in a Flyers sweater but for a guy like Gaudreau and also being a huge homecoming fans have wanted since the entire Bobby Ryan thing, yeah, id do it no questions asked.

That Last Word On Sports proposal was one of the worst Gaudreau proposal's I've ever seen, I wouldn't use that as any kind measuring stick for Gaudreau's value.

The best part was on the FB group that posted it a lot of the Flyers fans were saying "too much!" "no way we trade York", I don't think they understand Gaudreau's actual value and that prospects are potential, not proven.
