It’s either going to be Henrique ( Steel if he’s trade )
Lundestrom at third unless Henrique isn’t traded. Zegras will either split time or will stay in San Diego the entire season. Person already signed with some international team and Miller will retire

I don’t dislike Henrique, but he has a crazy contract. With some salary retention it’s a better deal. The funny thing is his contract is so bad even if he plays well you don’t have to worry about protecting him against Seattle.

if I’m Buffalo, I’d much rather keep Risto and do the Bjugstad deal myself.

If the Sabres trade for Bjugstad they should just fold the franchise.....

Almost $6 million a year for another 4 years and he’s 30 now. Why would Seattle want that when they could have a young defenseman? If the Sabres traded for him and left him available there’s just as much likelihood he gets taken as Okposo.

Henrique had 26 goals this year. 26 goal Cs make about $6M at least. He’s also going to hover around 20 goals as he takes most of his quality chances. He’s only shot below 12% once in his career. And 34 isn’t that old.

If he’s so great why would the Ducks trade him? It’s not like you’re swimming in center depth. Kesler and Backes are both done, Getzlaf is getting close. Rackell is good, but some people think he’s a winger.

The ducks C depth for 20-21, Getzlaf, Henrique, Steel, Zegras, Backes, Lundestrom, Aggozino, Rowney, BOG. They have plenty of bodies at C.

That's pretty much the expected return for Bjugstad, a pick between round 4-6. Buffalo trade is also solid
