They overpaid to trade for him and they’re just going to let you take him back for less than they gave you a year ago? I think not.

You don’t want anything to do with Montour. The ducks fleeced BUF if Guhle and Tracey just become NHLers.

The Sabres would look ridiculous if they let him walk for anything less than a 1st. At least then they can say they broke even. Guhle showed a ton of promise once, but fell down the depth chart. In the end he was a throw in.

even then u got a 1st for him. As he is now good luck to the sabers, getting a 1st for him is a pass, a 2nd and maybe a decent prospect or two is there best hope.

Bc they’ll likely trade one of those RH defensemen for a top6 forward
There’s absolutely ZERO chance they’d let him go for a 2nd
