I don't think more defense is the solution. Nashville seriously needs more scoring depth.

Giordano provides that, and Mangiapane is a great scoring prospect. Jarnkrok isn't an amazing scorer by any means either, but will help the Flames a lot, especially with Backlund and Frolik.

Jarnkrok and Ekholm won't get you Giordano, unless Brian Burke is high as **** when he takes the phone call. However, I do think that if Nashville got Giordano to put with PK, their blue line would be INSANE, and it would make a huge difference in that team's performance.

But Nashville needs better depth at C, and Ryan Johansen was NOT the answer. He'll be a perennial dud. He just doesn't have the level of compete that Mike Fisher does, I'd move Fisher up with Forsberg and Neal (unless Fisher is slowing down or something).

Fisher is absolutely slowing down. He had a great playoffs but so did Backes and Brouwer who have been heavily criticized for slowing down.
