The last thing Caps need to do is spend valuable picks to get ANOTHER LHD. They are arguably the most stacked LHD in the NHL. We don't need more.

could flip orlov for some of the assets lost in the offersheet? or move Kempny and let ALexeyev and fehravry fight for the last spot

I think he's using a bit of hyperbole there but the Caps have 2 (probable) nice starters coming in the next 2 to 3 years who can be top 4 worthy. Can't see this happening though as they have a few big contracts to dole out in January and the flat cap thing makes it tough unless you trade away people also. The Caps have talked to Dillon (who seems to love it here) and might be looking to add him as another LHD for the top 4.
