Wasn’t there something about Palmieri not waiving for any Canadian teams?

I'm pretty sure he has a family member banned from Canada or something. That might be Trouba though.

Trouba’s GF is a med student FLA and couldn’t make weekend trips to Winnipeg and NYR worked better for her residency when done.

Why would the Canes trade a cheaper actually producing player for the exact opposite?

Bruins pass. They already have McAvoy-Carlo in the top4 and Clifton/Lauzon/Zboril can play on RD3 at >$1M. Also, doubt he would be able to produce 25 pts on the third pair and B's need the pick.

Cause baertschi has more offensive upside. Despite playing in the ahl this he’s an nhl player. Can probably give you close to 30 points. Van could prob retain to balance the money. Baertschi just needs a more offensive role and Van would need a 4th line guy.

Fair but I think the value is there in a trade. Someone needing a 2nd paring RHD would pay that imo

McGinn isn’t that bad that we need to take a risk on a more expensive player that plays in the AHL instead of Eriksson.

Kyle Palmieri doesn't want to play in Canada, What part of that isn't being understood here?
