I feel like I've had to say this 20ish times... Red Wings do not need RD. We have no use for Stecher. We need a LD, a 2C and a good young goalie. Also, picks but that's obvious in a rebuild.

Canucks are not trading their two best right wing players in Boeser and Virtanen after trading Cam Neely and Rick Vaive as young players years ago.

What kind of Insider scouting knowledge do you have that makes you think Brattström Is capable of being NHL goaltender next year?

Brattstrom posted a .914 and 33-14 record in Swe-1 this year, which is decent, but by no means is he already an NHL calibre goalie. I'd rather have DiPietro come up and play if we're going that route (which Demko definitely won't be a starter next season). As for the other trades, the comments above says it all.
I would also love if Gauds would sin that kind of deal, but no way it will happen. Max length would be 2 years, minimum price would be 2M.

I agree Detroit has absolutely no need for Stecher.

Stecher doesn't move the needle for wings..let alone we need all the goalie prospects we can get

That’s a huge over-payment for Boeser. He’s great, and i would love to have him in a Wild sweater, but Brodin is terrific and Ek is now starting to silence the “we shoulda drafted Boeser instead of Ek” crowd. He’s turning into a very, very good player!

And this trade only makes our need for a center way worse

Detroit doesn’t need RHD but I think you could get more than a meh goalie prospect and 5th for him if you traded him elsewhere
