Avs pass on that. Beaucage and a 1st, not getting Bowers too, the Avs would be better off spending those sorts of assets on someone like Rackell.

Was just going to have Beaucage in the deal, but since they extend Tatar, they gotta pay a bit more to acquire him since he’s no longer just a rental.

I thought this was a firesale at the deadline scenario. That would mean that the 2020 draft was over and therefore the Winnipeg trade couldn't include a 2020 2nd lol.

ELC players are going to be far too important in the next 2-3 years. As good as Tatar would look in an Oilers jersey I think they should pass.

I get that but Bowers is a lot more than a bit more. He is one of 6 prospects the Avs are counting as a regular NHLer by 21-22.
