Bean Puljujarvi Rakell

Created by: Skyraider112
Team: 2020-21 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 1, 2020
Published: Aug. 1, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Take a "chance" on some of the young players out there who haven't made an NHL impact yet. Also clear cap so we have lots to work with for Dahlin's contract. I feel like this keeps us competitive and hopefully in contention for a wild card spot

Trades
1.
BUF
  1. Bean, Jake
Additional Details:
I really love Bean, watching him play for Canada at the WJC, it's apparent he will be a great top 4 D with offensive upside. Carolina has no room for him and if we overpay a bit, we can definitely get our hands on him
CAR
  1. Mittelstadt, Casey [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Mittelstadt still has the ability to be a good 2nd line player. Could use a change of scenery. Carolina wants more forward depth according to some of the fans on this site

Nobody wants Puljujarvi, Edmonton can’t give him away. There’s no reason to give them anything for him. Carolina probably isn’t trading Bean, and the Sabres can’t afford to lose more young Inexpensive forward depth.

One of those guys will be there at 8 so it is kind of a mute point. If I were the Ducks I would make that trade no matter who was there they are going to get an elite player

No way CAR trades Bean for Mittlestadt straight. The only reason he isn’t in the NHL is CAR crazy depth, Mittlestadt can’t say the same. ANA isn’t doing that trade as they already traded Montour away.
