Archibald: Sullivan didn't like him so he was traded away, he will not be brought back.
Russell: Pens already have Johnson, don't need a second. $4M dump.
2022 1st: it's a first.

This 4 piece package would not get you Murray alone, much less Rust.

Murry will cost a top-5 prospect and a pick. Broberg/Benson/Lavoie and a 3rd/4th. Maybe not Brpberg.

You want to fix what's wrong. You should start by telling McDavid to actually put the work in to improve.
One of those Early goals was Toews beating him right off the face of and just seconds later a goal. His whooping 33% faceoff is an embarasement.
Draisaitl has already become the best player on this team. He takes most the faceoffs, he plays better defense, and he puts up just as many points.

If Mittelstadt was taken out of the trade, IMO Botterill would say no. I have no idea what Adams will do this year.
Will he try to jump start the rebuild and trade away assets that lead us to last place over all.
Will he sit tight until just before the season starts and look to teams trying to shed cap and he picks up a bargain.
Will he trade for players to add LHD, Center and better GK.
Will he believe that the team is close and Cozens, Mittelstadt, Thompson and 8th OA will fill out the forwards and Hutton will play like he did the part of last year.
Any guesses?

I'm not so sure. Trading our #1 LW for a first-rounder NEXT year and a B prospect doesn't appeal like a Must Take right off the bat. Make it the 2020 first, or Raphael Lavoie instead of Ryan McLeod, and then maybe the Kings accept.
