Nylander has almost no trade value IMO. And why should SJ give up a first for Saad? He has only 1 year remaining and is more like a rental. SJ wont spent on rentals

SJ needs whatever they can get tbh. Nylander is 22 and I still see potential in him.

They wont trade for a rental. Especially not for Saad without retained salery. In my opinion Andersson=Nylander in terms of value

Nylander played in the NHL, showed offensive upside, looked better playing off the puck which is one of his areas of improvement, and is very young. Lias is practically a throw in. He is whiny, disgruntled, entitled, and straight trash until he proves he can play in the NHL.

every team here probably declines.
Maybe LA take it.
SJS is not that's for sure. They don't need rentals.
And the NYR aren't doing that either.

Kurashev would be a nice 3C but that pushes Barron to 4C. Barron>Kurashev.

Hawks could add a little to NYR deal but I'd do it. LA could be any team too.

Nylander looked better than DeBrincat today. If you think he has no trade value then that's fine, because the hawks don't want to trade him anyways. IMO and most hawks fans that actually watch the games agree, we think Nylander will be better than Ryan Strome. Plus we won't sign Nylander to an expensive deal any time soon. Lias Anderson is the one in this deal with no value. Hawks prefer Nylander to Ryan Strome because of his age and how cheap he will be for a few years. Nylander was on pace for 30 points playing only 11-12 mpg on the 4th line. Now he's up on the 2nd line with Strome and Kane and looks pretty good. Look for him to take a big step next season. 45 wish points wouldn't surprise me at all. He might not ever be that elite 1st liner he was drafted to be, but I would bet he can still be a solid middle 6 player for us in the future. And really, that's all Strome is just 5 years older and going to cost 4-5 mil per year more in the short term

One game samplesize... Also the Rangers dont need a winger. They would rather try to upgrade their C position or LHD than get another winger

Only one game with Kane...ok fine. He hasn'tplayed with him a ton. But I can tell you has a Hawks fan that gets into the details. Nylander's actually played better AWAY from Kane than with him. His "laziness" is a complete lie. You can still go see how pissed i was when Bowman traded away Joki, but Nylander is winning me over.

Saad is interesting but not giving a first for one year of him at his cap hit. I’d throw you a second and a prospect, or give you the first for strome though
