Playing Marner and Nylander on the 3rd line has to be a crime lol, other than that looks like a good lineup. However after seeing Robertson play I think he should have a spot on this roster.

the idea of that would be to make it harder for Columbus to play their top 4 Ds against the Leafs top 6 and then spread the ice time even among the top 3 lines.

I really like the idea. I think if you do that though you have to drop engvall and run 3c’s.

My preference would be to run Mango-Willy-Kappy.

That line could sprout some amazing chemistry.

Petan-Robertson-Malgin should be a line. The 5'9" 170ilbs Club.

Certainly Kerfoot at centre with Kapanen and Robertson looked very good in the only exhibition . Nylander shouldn't be put in the centre starting the playoffs. Keep on in his familiar position on RW with Matthews and Hyman.

Play Robertson instead of Engvall, then all 4 lines will be dirty and annoying to play against. Imagine having an effective, speedy, player on the fourth line.

I think Mango could get back into this series. Everyone is writing him off but he was the MVP of Calder Cup when Marlies won the cup.

I like the idea of spreading the offence, but I'm not sold on Willy at C. If he has to due to injury, fine, but I think it just limits him offensively and he's no marvel in his own zone as a center. But I could get on board with dropping Marner to the third line to spread it out a bit.

I agree and would not move Kerfoot out of 3rd line center position. However, I would be prepared to give both Willy and Marner a couple of shifts at centre each game to really screw up the opposition teams.

We are actually not in the 1980s anymore. There should be a balance of body types, but tall and big defenders often don't like playing shifty and quick small forwards with the modern era ruels.

My thinking process was also not to do that if things work out the way me and probably also you is hoping for. But what if the Leafs are down by two games after 2 and kind of need to pull a rabbit out of a hat. I think Willie has proven that he can play centre and I think Columbus would be surprised and struggle in the matchup game

he *can* play C, but he's not the same dominant player offensively, nor is he a stud defensively, when playing center. If you really needed to make a killer third line, you could drop him and Hyman or even him and Marner down onto Kerfoot's wing, but I'd be very hesitant to limit him by putting him at C
