Devils fans have accepted, if they have no problem with it why should anyone else?.

I'm all for 6 x 6 for Kubalik. I like that Rangers trade but Rangers fans will demand Kurashev

I think it’s hard to throw in such a valuable prospect. Kurashev is a deal breaker.

The value is fair, but Buffalo can’t afford to take on more unproductive expensive forwards.

I already edited the trade once, so I’ll just say a soft no.

Imo I think it’s fair. If you just WANT Montreal’s 7th I’d toss it over though.

There’s like 0 Val difference between a 3rd and 5th and Smith is objectively a bottom 5% NHL Fwd. it’s not enough.

That's not enough to move Zach Smith. There are 25 teams that need cap space and 6 teams with extra cap space. That probably costs a high 3rd round pick with nothing coming back.

Probably not It’s been reported that the Pegulas want to be significantly under the cap this year.

Stan, I think the Hawks would send Smith back to Ottawa in that deal, they need the cap hit to make it towards the floor! So might get more than a 5th in return?

I think that’s a super fair contract for Kubalik, I just question if he signs a 6 yr deal. I’m not a Hawks fan, but damn I like how he plays, and with him Dach (who very well could end up being the best player out of the 19 draft class) and DeBrincat they have a great youth foundation to add to the old guard.

Not to mention Strome, Boqvist, Nylander, Mitchell, Kurashev, Barratt who are all 23 years of age or younger (Kubs is 24 rn)

No thanks. Not sure why every hawk fan thinks they can unload one of Maatta, Smith or de Haan to us.

Boqvist yes, Strome I’m meh on he needs good players around him to produce, Nylander very meh on, I like Mitchell but don’t know enough about Kurashev, and Barrat. CHI’s biggest problem going forward is they are in the Central with COL.

If we’re paying you to do something, I don’t see the problem. Also, Buffalo makes sense for any one of those players.
