Description

I know they won’t move him but if they did, is this enough? Heinola is going to be a top pairing d-man imo and Dobson is too. Poolman is fringe top 4/excellent 3rd pairing d-man and hickey is a cap dump. What needs to be adjusted? I’m not by any means trying to buy low on Dobson, in fact I don’t think his value has dropped significantly if any. But heinola is also very good so maybe the isles move from a position of strength to one of relative weakness. Pulock is their best d-man right now, but heinola would rival him in the coming years and hey would make an elite top pairing imo. While JoMo and Dobson or Samberg and Dobson would be equally as good. What needs to be added if the isles did decide to move on from Dobson?

Beaulieu takes another discount, could be anyone though.

My understanding is that Winnipeg's second-round pick is virtually locked in at #48 and Detroit's third-rounder is #63. That's only a half-round upgrade, and I don't think that persuades Yzerman to take Perreault and Hickey off your hands.

It’s gonna be 43 i think. But yeah maybe add a prospect like Stanley.
