I think they have young guys who could help fill the void, but Larsson is also a UFA as Well smile

I disagree Larsson is one of the best 4th line centers in the league. But I doubt he wants to come back.

I would perfer him over Girgensons for sure.

I also wonder how much Larsson would make on the open market

I would imagine he could get 3-3.5 but with the cap staying flat maybe less.

So would it be worth it for the Sabres to pay him that kind of money? Potentially stopping them from signing a big name FA or a Goalie

Probably not. Although I fear they won’t have much free agent interest without overpaying.
