Description

Aside from upgrading goaltending and upgrading top 6 (cozens with 2 skilled responsible players, assuming we don't make moves for established 2C), Adams #1 priority should be convincing Pilut to opt out of KHL deal. It might costs a little extra to do so but ill do whatever it takes to get Pilut into a top 4 role with this team. In addition, I would like to see management recoup some lost mid round draft picks to bolster prospect pipeline/use as trade chips.

Pilut isn’t coming back, least of all will he get that contract from anyone. He’s trade bait. No one wants Hutton, we will have to bury him. If Vegas will take that trade for Tuch I do that tomorrow.

I am all in favor of Kahun centering the third line Unless Mittelstadt can do that. I wouldn’t give Cozens the second line right away and overburden him too soon the way we did with Mittelstadt. He’s probably too good for Junior, and he’s not allowed to play in AHL. But if he is ready to play in the NHL I think third line is perfect for him. If they think he is ready that could mean someone else is tradable.

Hutton isn't worth two draft picks, and Anaheim wouldn't be interested in giving you even one. If Ryan Miller retires, we have Anthony Stolarz ready to back John Gibson up unless he shows that he's the next Michael Hutchinson.
