i love stromer. however, he is going to ask for 5-6 million this offseason and we have chytil as next in line. he is better than strome and progressing fast. i could only see him being a 3rd c if strome is traded for someone better. andersson wont play for us so its better to get something/someone out of him. the first is understandable and maybe 1 2nd instead of 2 could work

No reason for the Blues to do this; it barely even saves them any cap room and they trade the best player in the deal. Would you want that kind of package for Zibanejad?

the first and 2 2nds with a top 6/middle 6 center with a prospect is tempting. I'm biased and so are you so I could understand your reasoning

How many players have been more impactful than ROR in the last 20 months? Why on earth would the Blues trade him for mediocre futures and the young version of Tyler Bozak?

    i don't understand the tyler bozak reference but I'm guessing nothing good. strome is worth 2 2nds max, andersson a 3rd, a 1st, and 2 2nds. i also meant to put howden in so that's another say 3rd. Who wouldn't do Oreilly for a 1st, 4 2nds (or 3), and 2 3rd (or 3),

Nobody (besides Jason Botterill of course) is trading O’Reilly for a grab-bag of futures.

They'd be tempting to a rebuilding team. We're playing for Cups now. We're not interested in Strome and Andersson has no value. Meanwhile, you want the reigning Conn Smythe winner. We're not the ones exhibiting bias here.

not stating my bias for strome or andersson. i am basing it off of value. A 1st, 4 2nds, and 2 3rds (or 3 2nds and 3 3rds) for Oreilly seems fair

Yeah, to you. Doesn't make it even remotely so, even before we put it in context, which just makes it silliness.
