Description

This would be a good team. Canucks lose to Min. and finally get lucky in the draft. 20.5 mil to sign Petty, Hughes, Podkolzin and fill any holes. Hopefully in 21-22 some of these players Hoglander , Podkolzin, Lind and Joulevi can make the jump.

You've spent too much of the money that would be freed up next season. $20.5 mill is enough for Petey and Hughes, but what about the other 5 roster spots that need to be filled after that? Plus Ferland is healthy and you haven't accounted for performance bonuses against the cap either.

As far as specific moves, I'd stay far away from that Hall deal. The Montour trade is okay, but I'd take out Demko and Benn. Also, Juolevi will be on the third pair next year IMO. He should be in the lineup over Fantenberg right now.

Um, yeah...that's a hard NO from Buffalo. Lol.

You don't get assets for another team taking on your bad contracts...Demko and Virtanen doesn't move the needle.

Buffalo has no need for Demko with Ullmark, Luukkonen and Portillo in the system.

Like 25 other teams trying to dump bad cap, it's going to cost much more than that. No thanks, same with Buf trade.
