1.
WPG
  1. Beauvillier, Anthony
  2. Pulock, Ryan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Islanders give up 1RD and solid 2nd line winger and gain the Superstar top line winger they want and very solid 2RD that can play 1RD until Dobson takes over. Laine - Barzal - Eberle top line for the long term future sounds deadly.
NYI
  1. Laine, Patrik
  2. Pionk, Neal
Additional Details:
Jets give up a huge part of their team, but get a very good young 2nd line winger to take his spot and get that true 1RD they really need.

The Habs trade is good for both but that islanders trade is awful. Pionk is not much worse than pulock and laine is better and has way more potential than beauvillier. Add Dobson and a 1st and you might have a deal

If the Islanders believe Dobson can play top-4 next year, then I'd probably do this. The difference between Pulock and Pionk is decent, but the difference between Beau and Laine is extraordinary enough that this makes it a really good deal for NYI.

Isles should accept if offered, I love Pulock, but Pionk isn’t an awful downgrade

Lol the islanders wouldn’t trade Dobson and a 1st for laine alone

And the jets wouldn’t accept just that. It’s a no go. We will get fair value for laine. Nothing less

you’re overvaluing laine. He’s a great player but he does not drive play offensively and he’s awful defensively. He has an elite shot and he’s elite on the powerplay.

He’s still 22. He improved his defence this year. And I’m not overvaluing him. I’m just taking into account his insane potential

he’s not even the best winger on your team, ehlers is. Overvaluing him is asking for a top pair D (pulock), 2nd line winger , Dobson who has #1 D potential, AND a 1st. That is just absurd lol - mark Stone only got a top D prospect and a 2nd and he’s much better than laine

Awful trade for the HABS. Chariot have been great and Domi is a 2C... for only Niku and a 1st?? No thanks

Laine has more potential.

I highly doubt laine ever becomes a better winger than Ehlers. He's a great player, but my point was your asking for kings ransom for a player who's shot is the best thing about his game.

He will definitely be better than ehlers. He’s gonna be a 50 goal scorer. And a big body. We won’t trade him

MTL can get more for Domi and Chiarot. Chiarot is probably worth a center and if Domi is traded it’s probably for a roster play of his caliber (LD) or a young prospect that’s about to make the team (Heinola for example). I don’t think MTL should trade him tbh he’s been good here. Problem is, he’s adamant about being a center.
