Why is toronto paying that much for Eichel and Okposo. The leafs are helping the sabres here, so Marner should suffice

if Toronto Edmonton Pittsburgh and Rangers all lose idk who the NHL will rig the Lottery for. itll be the hardest decision they ever had to make

It would be a PR dream to have my Habs win him, since he’s French-Canadian and the draft is at the Bell Centre. If the Habs win the lottery, I imagine the draft will be sold out

Buffalo says no they are not trading eichel especially not to their main division rival and it would also leave buffalo with no number 1 center

Any trade with Okposo won’t warrant as much as you think. If Okposo is tacked on with Eichel, the value goes down due to his contract.

Eichel is a center, he's worth more than either player given up here...and neither can replace him as a 1C.

They have no pieces to help Eichel. At least after this trade they would be a playoff team.

True they probably can't win the cup but they can't with Eichel by himself anyways.
