To clarify I mean that we're looking at prospects and trades that we would like.
The cheering against teams winning the lottery is representative of the general resentment of playoff teams having the opportunity to pick a generational player while the worst team in the cap era (who achieved this without an intentional tank) gets the opportunity to pick 4th.

And before you think it's ridiculous to resent a playoff team winning the lottery. Think back to the Auston Matthews lottery. Say Toronto drops to 4 and gets Puljujarvi and Tampa leapfrogs from 12th (would be in the play-ins) To draft Matthews.

I agree the setup of this was dumb. Unless Toronto (or maybe Winnipeg or Calgary) wins it hahaha.
