Pass, personally I want the avs To have nothing to go with Gourde and that contract. A guy in his mid 30s with trade protection when mackinnons contract is up and cap space is crucial, don’t want that ticking time bomb contract

Coburn wouldn't make Flames starting line up, they are far too deep on the left side

Could you take the COL 2nd instead?

Taking on Gourde needs a 1st + retention, not Raddysh. Jost is worth the 2nd + 3rd on his own.

That Gourde deal is gunna cost more than that to move.
Especially when you consider its got a NMC attached to it heading into an expansion draft

Tampa would likely consider the trades for Killorn, Paquette and Coburn. They decline the Dallas trade since they don't need Honka at that cost, and very quickly decline the Colorado deal. Tampa is likely to keep Gourde for at least one more year in an expanded role, then possibly try to either move him to Seattle or work on him waiving his ntc when his contract would be in a similar position to what Johnson and Palat's will be after this season concludes. Tampa is not tossing all these pieces in order to move him anyway. If he agrees to waive this offseason then Tampa will likely take a weaker offer for him than they normally would, but they won't be retaining and adding to move him.

If Tampa didn't need to get rid of guys like Killorn for cap reasons, he'd probably be worth something like that. But since they do, we would much rather give you the COL 2nd. I probably reject if we're getting asked to trade the better of the 2 picks.
