Jets and OTT decline, Tampa accepts imo
Not giving enough on both the Ottawa and Winnipeg trades. The Tampa one makes sense for Tampa, but I doubt the leafs would move liljegren

That Ottawa trade sucks.

You're giving a bust and a 6th round pick for a high end prospect? Try a 1st.

Lets trade Liljegren who the Leafs have spent countless hours developing into what will be a top 4 defenseman on the blueline for years to come for a few years of Cernak

Brown has played 29 games in the NHL.. If he wasn't 6'6 I doubt you'd be calling him a high end prospect.

Johnsson is likely going to be a better player than Brown will ever be IMO

OTT DECLINES.
Brown's ceiling is still top 6 pivot. (Which is way more valuable than a middle 6 winger.)
Brown just turned 22 as the NHL suspended the season due to Covid.
At 22 Andreas Johnsson had played exactly ZERO NHL games. He was in the AHL producing far fewer points per game than Brown currently is.
I have NO INTEREST in acquiring Johnsson.

Andreas Johnsson has played numerous games in the NHL. He's basically Toronto's version of Ryan Dzingel (7th round pick who fought his way up). He's had himself a 20 goal season already and an injury plagued season so far. I think you might be thinking of Bracco? Still wouldn't trade Brown for him though.

Brown IMO doesn't have top 6 C potential. I'd bet more on him being a bust than not.

Time will tell.

Yes. Time will tell. But at 21, getting a point per game in the AHL while dealing with injuries... I wouldn't pin the "BUST" label on him just yet. According to DOBBER he still projects as a 2nd line pivot.

No from Winnipeg. Bracco is worth nothing and the Jets don't need Dermott.

Nope. My post says AT THE AGE OF 22 Johnsson had played ZERO NHL games and was averaging far fewer points than Logan Brown did for Belleville.

Ah! This makes more sense. Apologies for not reading it right.
