Description
Just curious what the lineup would look like if we entertained offers for Burakovsky. He's done well this season, but if we can sign Hall he might be expendable.

Forgive me for being a little skeptical, the 4 years at 25 points make me feel like this year is an outlier, and at 25 hes not really going to change much

thats why the underlying numbers said in an advance role he would produce more, he was in a limit role on teh 3rd line yet had high generation of shots, give him more ice time and with a better supporting cast and he will excel

The nerds got this one right at least for now

Fair but shooting at 20% is crazy and not really a normal amount of production. Hes better than 25 points for sure, but hes not likely a 65 point guy normally.

It's hard to predict with Burakovsky. On the one hand he is shooting close to 19.4% which is clearly unsustainable; but on the other hand he's a player that has always shot at higher than league average (career 13.9%), so even a small reduction won't be overly dramatic if he sees a regression to the mean. He's also a player that thrives on confidence, so it's not unfathomable that he could elevate his play a little bit off the back of this season and a new contract.
